Spring Extravaganza is an exciting day when the parents of Moss School take over the classrooms and make books COME TO LIFE!
Groups of parents will give presentations of a favorite children’s book to each of the kindergarten classes. Groups will work collaboratively in both the selection of a book to read to the children and the creation of a classroom theme and decorations. Groups will also work together to decide upon session–specific aspects of this very special day including, but not limited to, games, arts and crafts, teaching of a skill, acting, demonstrations, etc.
Each presenting group should consist of 4 to 5 presenters. Groups will present to all classes, AM or PM and should expect to be at Moss School for the duration of their child’s session.
Spring Extravaganza is truly a special day at Moss, and it is a thrill to be a part of the excitement and energy. Both parents and students alike have a wonderful time, but it begins with us and our efforts.
